Hello fellow GSers,

I have just bought a medium Airhawk seat on eBay to fit to my '07 1200GS but it came without the original box or instructions, the fitting straps that did come with it look a little feeble. I usually ride solo in europe and stop off at campsites and was hoping to fix the seat in a secure and robust manner, maybe I'm just paranoid but I don't want some little scroat running off with my seat.
Any advice would be appreciated and if anyone wishes to post pictures showing how they secured their Airhawk that would be great.

P.M me your address - i'll send you a couple of metres of 2" stretchy webbing to sew on to it. :thumb2
remove seat - slip the webbing under - replace seat - job done. :)

Get one of those black webbing shoulder straps from a bag, run it under the seat, over the front of your Airhawk and clip together at the side of the seat. This makes it secure and simple to remove/refit when leaving the bike

i've had my airhawk for a while now still use it with the orignal straps threaded under the hight adjusters, when i stop overnight etc. i just take the pad off and put it in the pannier safe and dry.

cheers dave
