How to tell if a Twin Cam R1200GS has factory low suspension or not?

No, as in your post is a load of cobblers!

There's no need to be rude!
This isn't Twitter....yet:(

Pretty sure BMW we’re offering low suspension models long before Twincams. My mot man had an early single cam in his workshop that was obviously a low model. It certainly looked odd.

As others have said, BMW did the low seat option which included Non ESA suspension with the rear shock about 1cm shorter than standard plus a lower seat. Side and centre stands were shorter. Mrs Oldnfat had one for a while....have to say that it rode and handled better than my ESA GSA and I preferred riding it....when allowed!

Try typing the VIN into here, it may tell you if it was lowered as an option???

FYI: Original build spec's for my old GS TC TU 2012 "factory low".
Other equipment option X0499 details "Lowering".
However, any bike can be retrospectively changed from the original build spec's.
