How To Tell what Maps are on your 2610

I have a lot routes now in the 2610 I am off to Southern Ireland in at the end of June and I was curious if I could tell if I loaded the maps for Ireland on it.

you could look to see if there is street level detail in Ireland ?

I don't have a 2610 yet, but on the SP3 its Menu then Menu again which gives you Main Menu, then select Mapsource Info and Enter. On my unit at least it gives you a list of downloaded Maps, with a tick box next to it which you can Enable / Disable. Quite why you would want to disable a map, I don't know.

Another way I suppose would be to just zoom out to say 80m per centimeter and the maps are shown as grids. It would be interesting to know if it works exactly the same on the 2610.

Just connect your GPS and start up MapSource.
Download the maps only and you will see what is loaded 'in the pink'

MpaSource will not actually download the maps, just the segment names which will be displayed on the PC.
