Hi, I’ve just parked up at a hotel and not sure how to alarm the alarm. I’ve got a key fob and pressed the button and no noise. And there no flashing light to say it’s automatically alarmed.
Any advice be appreciated. Cheers

Same symptoms for my bike. I don't have an alarm.
Have you got one fitted?

Try pressing the button on the keyfob twice quickly in succession (double-press).

Not sure tbh, it’s a TE model so I’d assume so… there nothing on the tft screen saying alarm
Yiu shouldn't assume. Mines the same and doesn't have it fitted.

TE doesn't have an alarm as standard. But, still has buttons on the fob.

As mentioned above. The BMW Alarm is an option. Even if you have a TE.

Have a look in the bike program in Vehicle Settings.
If it doesn’t look like the screens below. You probably don’t have the Alarm Option.

Point of note.

If you told your Insurance company that your bike has an alarm and you don’t. I don’t need to spell it out for you.

Also. If you have 61.4 mpg your riding it too slow. Like me ;0)

I’d be chuffed with 61.4 mpg (y)
Nobody really buys a bike for fuel economy..?
Most modern diesel cars can return the same pulling 5-6 times the weight and same power output. Modern bikes are utter rubbish on fuel, but more fun than the diesel car ...

Old bike were worse. My GT380 used to do 23mpg back in 1975. My 2023 1250m GSA will do 46 ish. My ZX12R did 30mpg in 2004. I agree MPG is not the point for most bikers. Cars are the same now, for me. Car only does 24mpg.

No, they don’t. But if my 1250 suddenly started returning a 20% minimum increase in economy I’d be more likely pleased than disappointed. Yes, I know I could ride slower
