yengo again

In the heart of the crossing of the Yengo national park - there was about 40kms of stuff like this which gradually deteriorated. By the end I was sufficiently gripped to not be taking pictures - did my first creek crossing and survived a couple of iffy moments in deep sand. Finished with a 100km burnup down one of the best bike roads near here = the putty road. After the dirt the tar was like floating along a thick carpet

nice one - i was up at the setlers arms the other week - thats as far north as i've got yet.

I'll be trying this out soon.

Nice on Dave (or should that be TAFKADL).
No maccas but I did find a caf about 20kms futher up the road in the one horse town of Laguna - thought I was up for a 'meat' pie (aka sinews, fat and gristle stewed in salt and brown dye) but guess what I was offered. Pumpkin and Ricotta 'sausage' roll - not arf bad either....
