Hp2 and new to site

Hi I have just ordered a HP2 Enduro, last one in UK! and does not have the road wheel kit with it which according to BMW GB is not available anymore. Bought it for a road and trail iron. what's the opinions on this bike, and good move or bad move. Let me know please.
 
What do you want people to say, no its a heap of sh*t?

I like mine it's mad as there are few bits which I'd like the change but thank heavens most have already fallen off by themselves.

Saw some wheels for sale on ebay a while ago.

there's loads of info on the HP in the section have a search and I'm sure you'll find the site useful and right bits and pieces may come up for sale.

Mine has done just over 5000 miles since July and all I can say - AWESOME :thumb2

It does what it says on the tin and mine is pretty bog standard with only one set of wheels as well, enjoy and treat yourself to a nice offroad session soon :beerjug:

These bikes perform really well on and off the road :gringo

Its an awesome tool and dead easy to ride hard. You will have a ball on it and its such an attention grabber too that you will soon know you have made a good choice.:thumb

By the way keep an eye out on your fuel warning light as it will come on alot but its cheap to fill up as it only holds 2 cup fulls:augie

Common things to look out for are the weak battery, fork bushes and the aforementioned fuel light.

I'd recommend using this forums "search" function - easy to research specific questions.

Enjoy your HP2, ............and when are you going to invite all us other HP2 owners over to the island for a few days trail riding? :D
 
i was not sure about when i got ......then i suddenly got what it was all about, i love mine and it the one bike i have that i will not swap.....congratulations:thumb
 
Everyone should ride the HP2 at least once just to see what all the fuss is about. As far as I am concerned it is probably the most fun bike I have ever owned, just wait until you roll it on in third, marvel at the torque and acceleration and then realise you are actually in fourth :D However for me it has no character or soul, it is not like an Adv or RRT or something, I find it just does what is asked of it. Endoff.

That should read 'the right way to reply?', hope I have replied to you all correctly, as I say I am new to this Forum. Thanks for all your input, I think it's the right move after all you have said, and it should be good for 'Thundering' around the lanes over here.
All I need now are some decat front pipes to go with Akrapovic I am going to fit.
 
You will love it Phil, I am sitting here watching the waves smacking across a wind swept beach, not a person in sight for miles wondering why my bike is a 1,000 miles away instead of sitting outside covered in sand. I am on an island about 2/3 the size of the IoM and I am determined to circumnavigate it one day by beach, OK I have a couple of wildlife sanctuaries to deal with and a couple of harbours but in principle most of it can be done without getting near a road :augie
 
they do tend to spend a lot of time in ditches
