hp2 Dyno run

Another thing: since KTM says officially they have the most lightweight and compact engine on Earth in it's class why their bike is heavier than the "big pig" boxer HP2 having even the shaft drive?

Because they are honest about it's real weight ?

Dunno, but we all know that manufactuers lie about claimed power output and weight.

here are my Dyno results....

105HP!!! :D ... The chart is of 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th gears. Almost a 100HP in second

96.3HP at the back wheel, rev limiter kicks in at 7800RPM. The bottom graph shows the air/fuel mix - it should run as close to the line as possible - above the line is too lean, below is too rich. Looks like both Phil's & my bike are running a little lean

77.84 ft-lbs of torque. I don't know what causes the dip at 5000RPM but it sure explains the wheelies - around 15ft-lbs of torque kicks in within 500RPM!

...and Phil's chart for comparison

I had the Dyno done at HM Racing - a really professional setup. I've got my bike booked in with them in two weeks time to fit a power commander as my bike is running too lean

dudes chill

Guys, what ever a guy rides is his choice and if he has spent his hard earned bucks on it, be it orange or blue and grey or some other crap colour, you have to cut the dude some slack. In saying that, once you buy the steed of choice and should u decide to bag someone elses choice then u will cop it in bucketloads. This group is made up of mostly bmw owners, some adorn there bikes with so much crap they cant pick them up when they drop them, some choose not to get them dirty and some will never know the excitement of adventuring. That said, its the bloke or chick who is smiling the most that is the winner at the end of the day. Happy trails .....
