HP2 Exhaust link pipe

Does anyone know if an aftermarket GS1200 exhaust link pipe will fit the HP2?

when you say link pipe what do you mean are you doing away with the cat ,i fitted my 1200 gs remus headers straight on the hp the remus can fits but you have to either fettle the mount bracket or make another bracket to suit the hp hope this is of help, ps i cut my can down by 150mm from the collector end which made the mount bracket fit ok , but don't attempt if your not competent with a dremmel and tig welder???

In an ideal world I would go for a complete system but this is a far from ideal world.... Anyway I have just been given a shiny new titanium Skorpion can with the wrong link pipe, however the link pipe is titanium and I do not have a tame ti welder so I was hoping to find a stainless link pipe that was close and modify that to suit as I have a couple of friends who are good stainless welders. Now all I have to do is find a link pipe that is close to what I need.

The other alternative is to find a used aftermarket 1200 front end so I can loose the CAT and then use my Skorpion if anyone has one lying around? :)

All the systems I've seen, are one piece from the headers to the connection for the can, with no link pipe.

Best get someone to make you up a piece to fit. It'll need some chopping about to fit, which will probably end up costing as much as a new set of headers.

If you need some new headers, give me a bell and I'll let you know how much I can get a set for;)

I have a Laser stainless frontpipe with connection tube from a 1200GS on my HP2.
