I'll be shipping the HP out to my other place in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada. I have to stick the bike in my mates name as he is a USA resident and then he transfers back to me as a none resident alien ( easiest way)...

As I said, I'd be interested to hear how you get on with doing this. I'd always understood that getting a bike which was imported from Europe to comply with US DOT requirements meant that it wasn't cost effective.

If it works for you, that'll be great and I'd like to know just what parts you have to change or add to get the bike plated in Nevada.
