god I had a schock tonight when I bought a special edecishoin magizine from bmw it comes aut everry few monthes and the price from the kohlenwerk was in thier they want 80.000 for that thing what s it any beter than a hp2 !!! I guese if it really is on the market at that price it will push are prices up on hp2 enduros !!! good if you all ready own one and bad if you dont

Agree, I mailed them a few months ago asking for confirmation of prices and received the same response - 80,000 euros for a K25 based kit bike. I have no doubt that a huge amount of development has gone into this bike with some serious fabrication of parts. However I struggle to comprehend who the target market is - an HP2 seems to be worth somewhere between 10 - 15K maybe less for a shed so who's going to shell out a huge amount more for a bike that arguably isn't any better

I was really hoping for a budget HP2 - oh well

well it must be aboute 2 years ago bmw built a proto type hp2 as 800 vershion that look verry nice and light as a boxer ! but I think it will never happen now with the water heads aut and the price was not to much
