I am having trouble finding a front mudguard to fit.
I have spoken to BMW and touradollar and they can offer no advice.
Open to any ideas that don't involve changing the healthy unit. Don't know if a gas front mudguard would fit.

SM gaurd

this one is proberly even moor suited as the uther may be you can sit this on a littel Higher than the uther one it needs to be a lot ridgider than that one you have on which you will soon find aut if you try doing 120 mph thats why HP2 enduro front fenders are stuby and riged I would look for some thing down that road but your problem is you mask is restrichting fixing to the botom yockes for stability I have dropped some of my fenders 40mm to allow space for my wirring loom but thats a lot lower may be 120mm !!!

I see what you mean re the shorter mudguard. At the time I wasn't aware of that type of guard... at least now I can ride in the rain without downing 😊
I still think it looks the dogs.. But as started each to their own. Also I can always but it back to normal if I fancy a change. Many thanks to migsel for up loading the Pici 😊

My tanks just even drilled but not had a chance to see the difference yet... How much extra fuel do you think you get in?

I ran mine dry the other day close to a garage - I managed to get 13.84L in it

FYI...When I ran out it was 9 miles past the count down to zero having taken it fairly easy

I carry 1l spare with me in a alloy botel and allso aboute a meter long fin pipe just in case i ever run aut not to many petrol stations aboute in the alps but we yoused to be even on a husky with 7l tanks just means filling up everry 100km

Can any one show me where to drill in the tank neck to get the extra range or pics of their bike with it done ...what size hole do you need to make for it to work ?
thanks

That air gap is there for a reason and not really the best idea. If the weather gets hot it will throw the fuel out of the overflow... not a great idea onto a hot engine:blast

Yep, happens far too easily on mine... And it falls on the headers...

Yes mine overflowed on sunday when i parked at bakermans but the overflow is through the headstock so avoided the headers ps i like the high guard look! Youll get dirty and pepppered cases though!
