Collected my Megamoto on Saturday and what a bike this is.

The handling is just so secure (the HP2 Sport must be solid).

More important - not a hint of vibration - it is just smooth as silk.

Its a great pity this engine is not in the Adventure.

The massive torque means bends can be taken in top with phenominal acceleration on exit.

Probably one of the best bikes I have ever had.

so go on then

Hi There,- I see from teh GS website that you have a "megamoto" - I would be interested to know what you think of this bike ? Some people that have bought them seem to sell them again quite quickly - I would be keeping my GS as well so the shortcomings shoudl not be too much of an issue

Thanks

What do you expect it to look like,Trev ?

Just a wild guess,but I reckon it'll look something like this :

I have it together with a 1200 ADV.

I am very pleased with it and at last I have found a bike that I like (the 1200 ADV is also a bike I very much like). It is a bit hard on the suspension. The torque is just amazing and it just corners on rails.

I will not be changing mine.

I have the only Megamoto in New Zealand for the weekend for a test ride. My first impression of the ride home was the seat is like seating on a timber plank and there is no form of air deflection from the front plastic faring.

The bike sounds fantastic and I hope to take it for a ride on Sunday if the weather clears up.

I'm not a street bike rider so the point of the Megamoto is really lost on me, but I do like test riding all the BMW manufacture new bikes.

Never did get out. My list for the day was too long. Never mind the ball and chain is at work tomorrow so I may get out of jail tomorrow.
