Hi Guys, I'm new here and hoping you guys might be able to help me resurrect a dead HP2 Enduro. I would like to know if the front frame is the same as the frame on a HP2MM? I am looking for a good one as mine is toast.
I would also like to know if the engine casing is the same as the GS1200 as mine is cracked and I can get a casing from a 1200GS. Any guidance will be appresiated:thumby:

Thanks in advance

don't think they're the same you'd be better off getting a HPN tricked up frame

Front frame the same - part No 46 517 692 829 for both

PS Google Max Fiche

How much are the special build ones ...I don't think BMW will sell the Top frame section..... exchange policy I believe ...to prevent cloning/ringing
I could be wrong

MEGA & HP2E front-rear frames are Equals ;
I bought a new MM front frame and gave them the old one ;
They put the same VIN on it (not for free).

I imagine you can buy a new 'virgin' frame, without VIN if you decide to build a bike and run it
on private area, why not.

According to my local BM parts guy the HP2 frame has been discontinued and no longer available. I have contacted Klaus from HPN and they don't make a frame but might be able to repair mine. I have sent some pics to him but an waiting for a reply.

I had to wait a long time because I was said that a new manufacture had to be chosen.
I think you can get a new front frame from Germany now.

I have tried to order one with a new part no. from local dealer and been told no stock and can't give ETA.There is one in the States but a bit to pricey for me.

I paid 1.537€ + 175€ to write the number (VIN).

No stock, I can agree but they can still build them, takes some time.
