This was my first foray in to the world of rallying... and I loved it! I still have a hell of a lot to learn and need to get fitter but I will def be back for more!

Here are the only action shots I have, taken by the photographer there. I'll get my campsite and paddock shots uploaded later.

Thanks to Burt for driving me there and back and for all the moral support from Burt and everybody else.

Was indeed a top weekend....

I didn't manage to finish as I dropped out half way thru Sunday. Basically I was knackered and after dropping the XC in the mud and landing awkwardly on my arm I couldn't face doing the special test on day 2 again. I could see that that field was gonna turn into a serious mudbath. But .. I did a total of 195 miles so an OK effort for a first outing. ( more than Rushy )

Camping was a good craic - weather held up till Sunday afternoon. Good to put a few more faces to names off the site.

Much respect to those who did the rally on the proper big bikes, BamBam, Mav, Pipster and Lofty & pizza delivery bike.

Definitely need to be fitter to do this next year!

Hope the knee is healing Rushy.
