Fork Clamp Set “TriQ”
These top quality clamps are machined from solid aluminium
and prevent twisting and flexing of the fork tubes which has
an immediate effect on steering accuracy and response. The
original fork clamps are mass produced items with understandable
manufacturing tolerances. Several vehicles that we
measured showed that the forks tubes were not parallel to
each other, and there was too much play in the steering head.
On our own bike the forks were twisted so much that we originally
thought that they had progressive spring action (when
compressed the forks were working against each other).
Another important issue is that the HP2 has the compression
damping in one fork tube and the rebound damping in
the other. This has many advantages, but it can only work
correctly when both can move free and without tension. The
“TriQ” set offers exactly this, even under extreme loads, fast
off road action and higher gyroscopic loads of a 21” wheel,
the forks are held securely, exactly and without twisting.
Even inexperienced riders notice the difference right away.
The forks respond to even the smallest bumps without delay.
For the best result we recommend the use of the progressive
fork springs (see further on for the special WILBERS “TriQ”
fork springs) which will allow the use of the complete fork
travel.
Additionally, the top yoke features an adjustable bar clamp:
Simply release the two bolts and the handle bars can be
moved forwards or backwards by 30 mm. The stiff construction
of the fork clamp assembly helps reduce the load of the
fork components, especially the fork seals last longer.

of solid, high quality “Dural” aluminium and anodised blue
with a stainless steel head spindle, nut and fitting kit.
