HPN Tank Fuel Cap

My father-in-law took my R80GS in South-Africa out for a ride and lost the fuel cap. I took the cap from a PD tank back but it was to small.

Sorry this is the best picture I got showing the cap..

Any one have an idea what the size is and where I can source one locally before this weekend. Someone I know is flying back to Cape Town and can drop it off for me.

There are two sizes, as you are probably aware

I had a problem sourcing one, not what you want to hear.

Touratech tried but had the wrong size, mine was the largest one.

HPN came up trumps but at a suitable HPN price.

Did the usual of searching car shops etc for an alternative but to no avail.

PS had another look at your tank and you may be lucky with Touratech

I ordered a fuel cap from TT today. The delivery nearly exceeds the item price

Hopefully it will fit as I took the dimensions in December but lost it again. Fingers crossed this will work. Had a look at the HPN price and not exactly cheap
