I have to book holidays and would like to make it this year so I am getting in early

being new to HU events, what format do these take? looking at the website I see the HUMM event with trail rides being organised, hotel base for the 3 days, etc. would this be similar but more road based? is camping the thing to do or B&Bs / small hotels? are these events as friendly and welcoming as they appear, even to newbies..?
 
The site is a GAA club, camping on the field, and toilets and showers on hand. The events are in the clubhouse, ie talks and slideshows and food is provided at an additional cost (well worth it by the way). There where no rideouts last year, but nothing stopping anyone from organising. I'm from the area and happy to give advice if needed.

Oh and yes very newbie friendly, last year was my first!

We need your help. Perhaps the most travelled lady on two wheels, none other than TIFFANY COATES, has agreed to give a presentation at Enniskillen this year. The problem is she has been to so many amazing places we are having difficulty in deciding which of her many adventures her presentation should focus on. Of course there will be lots of time to chat with Tiff over the weekend about all her adventures but what should her presentation focus on? What do you think? The options are:

Tibet

Mongolia

Timbuctu

Madagascar

Which would interest you most??

We will play the democracy card and whichever title gets the most votes, that will be the focus of the presentation. There has already been a great response on Tiffany and the HU Ireland 2015 facebook pages. Check them out.

Preferences at the moment are Tibet 22% Mongolia 31% Madagascar 29% Timbuctu 18%

Even if you are not coming along to the event (and why not?? :rob ) let us know which would be your preferred presentation by replying to this thread.
 
Really wanted to be there this year, but it clashes with the family h'oltay in France in 2015.

I promise I will be retired and free by 2016..…
 
Yeah, Tiffany in Madagascar would be good to hear about.
Going through a bike less phase at moment so not sure if I'll be on two or four wheels in July but this years lineup looks great.
