I've bought one, Still waiting for it to arrive. Only one video on youtube so far, and that is a pre launch version. Not in English.

It sticks out a bit from the BMW mount.
It feels a bit “in your face” when sat on the bike - I’ve not ridden with it yet due to inclement weather.
Careful adjustment is needed to stop it blocking the top line of your TFT.

Its much better than the previous mounts. It has to stick out to clear the Nav mount surround.

So the Chigee Aio 5 bmw is £377 discounted & delivered currently- what are you guys paying for the Carpuride bs? UK delivered & discounted?
I tried to check but couldn’t find a discount code yet.

That makes the carpuride £247 v chigee £377. I understand the chigee is better build quality but that is a very temping offer! (Especially after clearing the savings account on a new GS last week!)

Put them both side by side.
99% would, in a heartbeat go for the Carpuride.

For anyone with one of these arriving soon, you almost certainly will need the update if you want it to work with wonder wheel. The firmware update process is a PITA but works once you realise how far in you have to push the SD card! It’s impossible to do without tweezers. Wonder wheel works great once updated.

All of ours have worked straight out the box.

That may be because some have the new software and some dont I guess? Mine was ordered very early as part of the pre-order offer, so it may have missed the update. I would imagine all sent out since they created it would have the latest.

The new 702BS is now fully integrated into the BMW system. With full control from the selection wheel, and now providing all the bike info. The other big update, Is the bulky mount adapter has gone. And now fits flush and tidy into the BMW mount. Of course, I couldn't resist, and bought it. The gap between Chigee has now gone, But the Carpuride will always be the one for me, with the 7" screen.

I am looking at the W502BS to drop into my K16, just raised a thread on it before I saw you has bought the W702BS. I would be very grateful if you could provide a depth for the unit, excluding the hood so from back of connector to face of the screen, hopefully its around 24mm and it will drop straight in.

I had the original 702 with BMW power but switched to the chigee for the bmw whizz wheel connection
As for the chigee. Nothing wrong with it, couldn't fault it
But as soon as the 702BS came out with the big screen and BMW connection made me switch as soon as I saw it

I have to say the chigee is better build quality bar far but that takes nothing away from the 702BS

There is a chigee 6" coming out in the summer. I shall wait to see its its any step up from the carpuride

I dont need camera integration as already have a nextbase ride and insta360 x3 on the bike

Yep - mine worked perfectly out of the box. I run it in Waze most of the time.

I have it on a 2017 R1200RS (analogue) ....and yes, the wonderwheel works fine
