I am contemplating buying these (yellow). Any experience to share ? e.g. how solid are they ?

There are a lot of previous posts on this - do a search on 'huggers' and you'll get lots of info :thumb

Do a search for "tree huggers" for more entertaining results :thumb

Hugger is excellent, solid, service is good, but whatever you do...........

AVOID THE COLOURED ONES!!! Black is best in this case.

I haven't seen the yellow in person, but I saw a red one and it looked fine. I've had a black Motorrad Concepts hugger on my bike for thousands of miles now, and it has been great. The rear of the bike is much cleaner now after riding wet roads. Seems solidly built too. It is definitely one of the best mods to the bike that I've made :thumb

Erm..... why?

Is it because they get especially dirty or something... I kind of though that a matching color brings balance to the bike???

I've got the colour matched hugger (BLUE) and found it to be excellent. Does what it says on the tin. Blue is the best colour anyway.

Hi

I have both in black from Motorrad Concepts. Everything on the bike is a lot cleaner - especially my left foot! Be careful removing the rear shock shroud or you will break it and lining up the screws on the front mudguard may need a little "Dremmel" dressing to get them to sit flat and pick up the thread in the fork brace. All in all a great investment which I do not regret.

My Motorrad Concepts Hugger does a great job and looks good too.

Does everyone elses rattle over bumps though or is it just mine?

Peter

Yes I broke the rear suspension shroud removing it too , but I do not need it any more as the M.C. hugger does an excellent job protecting the back of the bike. It also allows more access to the spring to clean any dirt that does reach it . A good ,but expensive product that looks good (in black) and does a good job

No, mine does too - think it's the front of the guard clipping the swing arm below where the shock mounts or thereabouts.

Ahh, that's better, the clattering I can put up with if it's a case of "They all do that Sir".

Excellent piece of kit!

Yes I was.

It's all a matter of taste and preference. I believe the Burberry check finish has reached the prototype stage.................
