Hi All

I have a deposit on a 2010 ful spec Adventure :D and am FARKLING :drool

I'm sorted for everything but am still wondering about the rear end. I'm interested in improved protection for the rear end of the bike, shock, battery, back of my feet and legs, and lower legs and feet for a pillion.

Title says it all ... let the debate begin!

Cheers

Paul

Well there's belt and braces for you....:eek Would Sir also be leaving the herschl intact with that little set up?

Having had a Motorrad Concepts hugger on my previous two bike's I've now got a Mudsling on my current one. I was out in some pretty filthy weather yesterday and I'm surprised at how well the mudsling worked.

If you've got any aspirations to fitting knobblies and going off tarmac, you'd probably do well to forget about a hugger. It might also be a good move to fit one of the number plate mudflap plates which helps to prevent muck being flung up onto the back of your jacket.

Oh yes.....and bin the herschl!

I prefer the Spraystopper. I had a Mudsling but it made contact with my Ohlins shock when fully loaded with passenger and camping gear. I feel more comfortable with something softer. It seems to work a little better too. :thumb

What is a mud sling :nenau

What is the best hugger and front fenda-extenda?

Just want to protect and look after my new baby GSA.

Mudsling fitted, and you don't even notice its there...only thing I'd say is the bolt that sticks out at the bottom of the shock seemed to be wearing a groove in the bottom of the mudlsing, so I've re fitted the original shock cover in the hope that it will stop this happening... suppose even if it wears it all the way through it will still do the job :)

Hi Fellas,

Thanks for the info and links. :thumb2

Is there any difference (Apart from the price, ie; the size and quality) between the Pyramid and the other front fenda-extenda?

What is the best carbon fibre hugger and best place to buy?

Sorry, I'm not hijacking this thread. :angel

Cheers,

RD.
