Just bought an 08 GSA and wanted a little advice.

Firstly, any opinions on the preferred hugger to fit. I had a pyramid hugger on my GS which worked well but wondered if there were any worthwhile alternatives I could consider.

Secondly, is there alonger sidestand that can be retro fitted?
just been away for a few days and was quite alarmed at the angle of lean on the bike when parking up on uneven terrain.

Your right! sometimes you wonder if its actually going to topple over:eek:, especially when your fully loaded. As a result I end up searching for hard flat ground or even a slight incline.
Recently had an additional 18mm S/S pad welded to the bottom of an existing S/S footplate and when polished it looks great.

Makes a surprising difference!:thumb2

Hey Joe - a GSA now!:thumb
I have just fitted a Pyramid to mine GS - bought it direct from the factory which is in Gainsborough.

Hi Geoff,

Yep got a GSA. Had an itch that had to be scratched!!!

I've seen another hugger from oceanbmw that I thought I might try or will nip down the road and get the pyramid one.
