Only a wet twat would put a hugger on a GS, buy a road bike. If you must the Wunderlich one looks ok. Yeah I remember reading someone had a prob with the concepts one.NN one is only about a hundred looks alright. Less is more with huggers. Dont need to cover much to do job.

It'll be interesting to see that Mk II and how it is different from the first model. I have the original, and it has worked beautifully in keeping the back of the bike much cleaner.

Having ridden with the MC hugger and without it. I'd have to say that only someone with a fetish for cleaning would ride without. It stops 99% of the shite from gettiing to you and the bike. Plus, the fit, finish and service from these guys is excellent. Buy one, you wont be dissapointed.

Well, I have to admit that they do look very good - but £215 for a matching one is just a bit of an extravagance I feel.

Certainly is....especially as we were only charging £174.95 for colour matched ones..........

BTW, it would be really nice of someone (independent) would answer the question posed in the original post on this thead.......we've compared the two.....surely someone else has...........?

Compare the two you'd have to be made of money. I bought the MC extended front mudguard and rear hugger. Both are superb quality and look the part. I did have a problem with the bonding coming loose on the rear hugger, however, I contacted MC and a replacement part was here in a couple of days. Outstanding service by any standards. MC get my reccomendation.

Thanks Mike......I was thinking that perhaps someone out there had purchased one of the products mentioned, was dissatisfied for one reason or another, returned it and then acquired the other product..........if such a person exists then I'm thinking they would be best placed to make such a comparison......?

Perhaps when our MKII hugger becomes available we'll invite some independent persons to test all the available huggers and give unbiased opinion......we're small enough to listen to such opinion and therefore constantly improve our products.

From what I've understood, the second iteration of the Motorrad Concepts Hugger will also be suitable for the R1200 GS Adventure and will, therefore, offer sufficient clearance for TKC80s or similar off-road rubber to be fitted.

One less thing to worry about now. I thought it might have been something to do with the routing of cables etc and the functioning of the ABS.

However, as I tend to forget everything once I get on my bike and I ride around with my head up my a*se it doesn't really matter as long as I'm moving.
