Had a great time we came 7th (only trouble was there were only 7 teams LOL) there was a few other gs`s there including the winning team who got 100% on a 1200gsa & a Africa twin

Sounds good to me.
I'm on a 1200GSA if anybody needs anoghther team member - PM me

Cheers, Dave

Sabina and I went and teamed up with a Lee who we met at the Horizons event at Lumb Farm, It was a really good event and well worth the effort to get there and back. Our Round trip was just over 2000 miles which we done none stop! in a van.Tolls where bloody dear though:eek:
Didnt use my GS though as couldnt see much point when the others where using small trial bikes (TTR250 + XR400) so I took my ccm which performed very well except when the rear subframe came off on day 2 :blast
Anyway bodged it back on with bolts stolen from other areas of the bike and got on our way after approx 1/2 hour.
We came in 5th out of 7 which we were happy with.
Our team will be there next year and I would reccomend the event to others.

Absolutey fantastic weekend!, I still can't believe what is possible with a 1200GSA!
I was in "Team Avery", we came last, but this was a deliberate decision by our team. We decided that due to our superior map reading skills and off road skills, others should be given a chance to shine, which they did!:augie

Hi Jim I think that getting a 1200 / 1150 Around some of those tracks deserves a special medal wether you got to the check points or not especially when you where new to off road riding!:clap
