Hurst's motorrad

New bikes look exactly the same as previous models, but plenty of free sandwiches and biscuits. Shop was quite busy with plenty of tyre kickers lurking around, There was also 10% of hellmets and boots etc.

Yes, I was there too.
Managed to spend £530 on a new top box plus a few pieces of bling:eek:
some of which did not fit terribly well. I intend to visit Hurst motorrad again tomorrow and see what they have to say about the misfits. Will let you know with a few photos.
Thought it would be a nice idea to identify other UKGSers on the day but then again maybe not ..... Nor'n Ireland is still a place where you need to watch who you talk to.
Any thoughts??

I was there from 9 o'clock to about 11 o'clock along with 2 other mates

Yes Sorry but my opinion on The above is:- It's only in your mind!

If you're out on a Bike you're more interested in bikes than being a terrorist!

Come to one of the fish dashes or an event and see some great sights with some great folks and get to ride with some profesional folks!

If you are Not In! then you Can't Win!

If you get there and don't like the company you can get on yer bike and pop off home No Harm done!

In all seriousness if you come to an event you will MORE than likely stay!

Good Luck Once I have me Escargot rebuilt I'll post a pic and you'll know who I am if we meet! Apprently I cast a large shadow If I get between you and the sun! So that may be another clue :aidan

What he said.

As an outsider I'm with Jay on this.
I headed north in the mid 70's to various biking stuff.
They were rough times in Ulster and my folks were not entirely over the moon about me heading up there - I lived 40 miles south of the border then.
What I found was that when you were on a bike talking to another bike enthusiast, the only tribalism at play was the tribe of the bike.
I met lots of folk and never found out what brand of religion they endorsed (if any). I called to houses with red kerbing stones and ones with green kerbing stones near by but the bike was the common currency that rose above all other creeds.
There were areas where one would not offer unsolicited opinion but there are such areas not 2 mile from where I type this. To that extent you would always be circumspect but no more in the north than anywhere else.
Nor'n Ireland was never a place place I especially watched who I talked to as long as they were on a bike or at a bike race/event.
Them is my thoughts.

Peacemaker white is the business
One can then personalise it with their own Green or Orange tribal bling on the boxes

or

just stick to the great and trusted Gs clan travel bling and feck the politics :D
