Any opinions on the Hyperpro CSC Steering Dampers?
This year I decided to upgrade my 2017 Euro 4 R1200GS Adventure Suspension. In the end after consideration I chose to order a set of Ohlins TTX RT shocks and eliminate my Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) as I can live without it. This Ohlins kit hasn't arrived yet and I'm still awaiting delivery.
During that upgrade process, I thought I'd also upgrade my stock BMW steering damper (as it's non adjustable and non serviceable and probably cheap tat), at the same time.
Looking around I figured I'd try a Hyperpro Steering Damper replacement, only because it was cheaper than Ohlins and Scott, plus it fitted as a direct replacement to the original ones location.
The main benefit I can see is the steering damper is ADJUSTABLE and SERVICEABLE. Unlike the original.
