Well I’ve finally made my decision I really wanted to spec my own bike from new but with the no delivery date and the fact that the factory has no date to open soon it could even be next year before I see the bike. The dealers have hunted round and round and there is no stock anywhere so I’ve bought a used one from a dealer instead.

White 750gs sport, ESA and all the usual bits ex management bike, 18 months old, 6000 miles.
I thought I needed a low suspension but this bike having ESA I can set it low and I think a heavy person must have had it because the suspension has settled nice and low almost right for me for once but I still may order a low seat yet. The only thing it’s missing is something I really want is the TFT but then you can’t have everything.

I will pick it up next week, I can’t wait.

Just ordered it’s first gift a set of Heed engine and tank bars.

Well done on getting a bike , just an observation on the previous “ heavy person” . The suspension is not like an old rocking chair , its doesn’t mold to you. Make sure its been fully checked out and is set up correctly.

I bought an ex staffer Bike with 10 K on the clock, great value and all servicing done on the dot.

Don't fret about the TFT. The standard dash is easier to view and has more features on show such as odo and TPS at the same time. I found the TFT would drop connection just when I wanted it and needed to configure BT again!
