I bought one

I found this also. Luckily the bike has only been wet once. Riding home and a section of road was wet so the spray was absolutely minimal. But the hours it takes to get it back properly clean. As you say. The bottom of the shock is a bowl to trap dirt. The cylinders etc.

Bike is wiped down with a Ceramic Detailing spray every day when I get home. So if it does get dirty it doesn't stick. But even with the protection and a good wash there are still little nooks that are dirty.

i have the mudsling fitted to my rs1250 first thing i did helps keep the bike pristine .
