Hey up guys I'm that tosser who bought the blue peg with the Gs attached to it which your getting your knickers in a twist about :-) i was more than happy with the price i payed
Rod from york and joined ukgser on his recommendation but doubt after the stick you've given him he's still doing the same , he was a totally honest guy with a stronger grip than
ebeneezer scrooge on his wallet and rather large so if i was the man who called him a c-nt id be hoping not to meet him anyday soon and at the end of the day he was the man who
got out of bed stepped up to the plate and bought it rather than thinking about it good look to him i say
Bill
ps the peg is more than happy in castleton even though its missing its previous owner but you never know they could meet again and no it won't end up as a fu-kin bobber

Hi Bill, thank you for that. The Touratech boxes are better collected pal, I don't mind keeping them here until you ride over and we can fix them to the bike and away you go! Maybe tie it in with a ride to Whitby or Scarborough and I will join you. Maybe a few of you guys could meet at my house ( Whitwell Hill A64 between York and Malton ) have a bacon butty and a cuppa then ride to coast?

One of the many good things about this forum is that there are many 'mates rates' deals to be had. This is usually for the mutual benefit of subscribed tossers and in the most part, what goes round comes round.

It would have just been 'nice' to see David's bike go to someone on here that would use it and appreciate the history of it, knowing that they'd not been sold a pup or been ripped off and would be looking forward to enjoying the bike for what it was made for.

To buy a bike from someone on here with the sole purpose of making a profit from its immediate sale seems to be against the spirit of UKGSer. Fair enough if after a while you find the bike is not for you and then sell it for more than you paid, then good luck.

It's hardly an encouragement for tossers on here to offer their bikes for sale here if they think that the buyer is just going to sell them on for a profit.

Just my 2p
All good now then Nick, it did go to someone on here! He is a great guy and a petrol head like us.

You may live to regret that invite!

There's some easter egg thing on in Squires am & Malton pm on the 20th March, with a band playing early afternoon. I was half-planned to be at the Malton afternoon bit, with perhaps some very light mud (Crambe, Westow, Eddlethorp way) en-route in the morning. Fancy it?

Hey up David
rest assured she's gone to a good home ,currently its establishing who's the Boss in a garage mainly dominated by seventies Jap bikes and a bit of seventies USA iron
but I'm sure all the squabbling will be over soon , can't make the cafe but hoping for the Matlock run Sunday .
cheers Bill
ps its not a bill is it

Castleton! GS country - Great Hucklow, Bamford Clough, Pindale, Fox House to Ringinglow. I used to live in Bradwell. Know them well. You'll be taking it off road then?

Steve.

Hi Mark, yes sounds great. Like you I'm not fussed about the squires part. I'm fairly sure I'm in the UK on the 20th, is that your kalahari I've seen somewhere on here?

He bought it . He sold it . So what :nenau
I bought a mint kalahari 1100 a few years ago .£4000 paid , traded it 6 months later for £2000 against a new GSA .Its like stocks and shares , they go up and down . I bought high and sold low . But I'm an idiot:D
