It will be sound - think it's even got Karoo's on it so ya can get straight down a framers track on it and get it muddy :D
 
Look not too bad at all... exactly the same colour as my 2005

nice .. i got one last week. I see lots of talk about off road. I rode enduro for many years, but i would never consider taking a beast like the GS off road.

Check the alternator cores for corrosion. They suffer more on under-used bikes.

Give the alternator a good soaking with ACF-50. You will also be able to deal with any failing paint under the belt cover. It's a common area for trouble to develop unseen.
