... I've been BTBR'd! Alan did mine a week or so ago, and blimey - what a difference! There's the obvious difference of actually being able to see at night for a change, but also the less obvious difference during the day. Filtering has become a lot easier as far more people seem to see me and move over slightly. This has been consistent all week, so it's not just my imagination thinking people are being nicer. I'm not dazzling them with main beam or anything like that, but the increased light and the 'odd' triangular pattern seem to make people notice me more. Which all in all is .

I know, I know. SWIMBO has taken (my) camera on holiday - any recomendations for a 6+mpixel all in one with a 10x zoom? I was thinking of a Panasonic DMC-FZ5, largely on the basis of the Leica lens:

Camera

Just bought a Fuji FinePix S9500 to replace my older Sony. First Fuji camera I've ever bought, but the quality and functionality seem pretty good so far. 9mpx 10.7 optical zoom and 2 x digizoom. CF and XD slots. Not the best photographer in the world but it's making me look good. ( the pictures that is not me myself, that'd take more plastic surgery and money than I've got )
