copy a complete installation of windows to use as a virtual machine on your mac. handy, and i assume, means you don't have to buy another copy of windows :)

i think it's only the new v2 fusion that will do this, but that's free to them wot own v1 :cool:

Happy with my mac but I'd like to have the full mapsource from my pc on it ;)

no. with boot camp you have to shut down mac os x, then reboot into windows, where it runs like any PC. good for games whaere performance is all important.

fusion lets you run windows, in a window, inside os x. you can swap file between them like it was an application. very neat, but a bit slower than boot camp. i find it very useable with 4GB of RAM split 50/50 between operating systems.

i've used it for a while, but was unaware i could just clone the install on my PC and run it on my mac.

currently running kosher Vista and not so kosher XP on my imac and macbook. Vista runs mapsource nicely, XP is more of an experiment, but would be fine for mapsource too.

it would be nice to import my PC install of kosher XP pro with NOD32 license etc. into my macs. i have all the software and instructions now, but not got time to do the deed just now.
