As the title says I forgot to reset the ECU with the twisting the throttle twice procedure after I changed the battery:blast. What should I do now? Thanks.

er relax and ride the bike it can be done at any time you turn the ignition on.

Start bike.
Ride.
If ok then stop worrying.
If not ok then disconnect battery, reconnect and carry out reset procedure.

Thanks

Thanks for the prompt replies. BTW the motobatt seems to be spinning it over really nicely!

Nothing. As far as I am aware the ecu will sort itself out.

Tom

I changed my battery and didnt do anything to reset the throttle not having heard of the idea anyway. Made no difference to the bike which is just the same on the new battery as the old one, except that it will now start.

I disconnected my battery to charge it (I now know that not necessary). I did not do the reset and it made absolutely zero difference to the throttle response.

Stop worrying and ride the bike as hard as you like.
