NO WAY !!! YOU CANT DO THAT :blast :eek:yes:jes

what look are you going for? it looks like it should be on a vrod or something with a 240 rear tyre :hide

acerbis ?

you do know there was a clause in buying my bike, that it must be improved not made to look even more like a tractor :D

what else have you done :eek

You're responsible for this peepingtom :nono

We'll have to send the boys in now to sort this mess out.

Not a lot, managed to rattle can the tank white yesterday, came out quite good, yes its too cold but I had the cans in hot water and had an electric paint stripper trying to warm the place, 12.5 degrees. Can a shop clear coat rattle can paint? need it petrol proof.

Got a DRZ 400 front light / cowl on its way, XR125 clocks to fit.

Won't be long till i'll be out playing, hopefully.

I was thinking galvanised but I did'nt like the idea of the noise should it go off road.

Also, GSXR1000 pipe to fit when I get a plate deliverd.

I reckon you could easily finish that off with the ironmongery from the bench seat in your photo - for genuine Heath Robinson appeal!

Hmmm, I haven't got my head around the tail rack yet, cast iron bench seat? well i never thought of using but I recon its now on the top of my list, I might have to check the scrapper. Or cut up the bench behind the bike..

DRZ400 headlight fitted

Hi

Just thought I'd show you the bike with DRZ headlight, XR125 clocks and some carbon wrap, don't look too bad.
If you look you might see a bit of alley angle, some inner tube and some zip ties.

A bit easier.

I cut the big slots with intentions of using big stainless clips, but I think I'll just get some thicker zip ties.

Don't panic about the trapped brake line, will get it extended.

looking good andy, good stuff:thumb
may be put a small tool roll or something between the bottom of headlight and mudguard ? just a thought as theres a little gap there

Yes, cheb they are

How have you shortened them? I put 75mm spacers at the bottom of the springs on mine. I'm sure there's a thread on here about it. It also only needs a couple of relatively simple spacers to use the BMW front wheel.
