Looking through the BMW repair CD I noticed "No para-lever bearings"...

Well #@!* thats nice to "know"!!!

One less wiggly thing to wear out!

Take that ................ 1200GS bashers!!!!!! :P

My CD repair manual doen't show or I can't find any of the needle bearings in the rear end where it bolts up to the swing arm.

Just for the sake of it... The final drive unit is a non repairable part. If the oil seal goes, the whole unit has to be replaced. Cost £780.00ish plus labour.

Just had mine done under warrenty, Pheeuw

Take that................all 1200 owners, something else to worry about. Sleep well:P

Well numbers 3 and 5 below look like a bearings to me?

And all the individual parts of the rear drive are listed and priced on this site:

seriously though.....There have been instances where 1150 bearings have failed and the BMW dealer has replaced the whole unit at a similar cost to the 1200. Outrageous:(
