Dead battery, full petrol tank. Managed to remove the battery by propping up the tank. Pair of gloves over the frame , as insulation against spanner earthing, more of that later
New battery, anyway shorted the spanner against the frame, as glove fell offframe.
I know positive should be fitted first.
Tried to save time and effort.

Bike won't start, no spark. I've fried the cdi unit haven't I!
Checked the fuses on R/H side under sidepanel, all look OK.
Engine turns over, all lights work, apart from the neutral light. That seems odd, does this have any relevance?
Side stand relay clicks on and off when sidestand is moved.
Relay behind the R/H panel clicks, when ignition turned on, fairly sure it's for the Digiplex.
Did I mention that I hate myself?
Any thoughts about it being something other than the Digiplex unit?
