hi,
im in the market for an airhead and would like a little advice. i own a z1000 which i love to bits. however to purchase a gs i have only £2000 max budget. Can i get a half decent machine for that much? if i sold the zed would i get a significantly better machine if i spent say £3500 on a more modern airhead, ive seen some 97 models go for £4000. Im quite mechanically adept so could do many improvments myself.
Also i had an idea but was unsure if it was possible, can one retro fit a straight road R80/r100 to make it a gs or is the gs different in chassis/ engine terms?
