.. than my 2013 WC GS, no other bike gets close in terms of its all round capabilities - really nothing does, every other type of bike is too heavily compromised towards one particular type of use i.e sport, sport tourer, dirt, tourer, cruiser etc and that compromising seriously limits their use - the latest GS (not GSA) hits the nail smack on the head of doing just about anything asked of it and doing it bloody well - it's fab :D

Oh so +1... and: Oh boy oh boy...I can't wait..:clap

I think you'll find that what you meant to say was that the WC is a compromise and that other more focused bikes are less of a compromise :nenau

I would agree with you too, but so is the new GSA it's just the same really with a bigger tank. I am slinging mine round just as well or just a quick as on the GS wc I had last year. It's the first time I've ever brought the same bike twice albeit GS to GSA I love them both and would buy any one off them again it's 4 bikes in one.

The King is dead long live the King.

The thing is i have had a test ride on both the GS and the GSA and despite so wanting to love them and therefore buy one i wasnt inspired to part with so much cash and my well sorted 12 plate GS TC ! I have it just as i want almost ( waiting for the Akro headers}
Its been re mapped and had wilburs fitted along with sargent seats and lots of other bits and bats and to me the LC just was not better !

I am not a luddite LC knocker and am happy for the LC owners that are happy and enjoying their bikes and good luck to the lot of you i say but it certainly isnt the best bike i have ever ridden and i think Andres has it pegged with his post !

Interesting view

I have a 2014 LC GS

If I could find a new 2013 GSA I would most probably swap back

As I think you are quite correct.

Really? I couldn't give a stuff if other peoples' opinions of bikes are aligned to mine - but in the "Facebook -Twitter" world - there is a great emphasis on telling everyone your every thought.........

In the vernacular of today - I'm not "loving' it......

Warm feelings aside, for those of us thinking about a change it is useful to hear from happy owners as we do from those with problems. I am seeing a lot of wc's on the road and i am tempted to take test ride.

I should have put the :P smiley, as I couldn't care less if other people love or hate their bikes.;)

I was getting all warm inside myself...... then I read the GSA was excluded.

I will stay with my Hilltop remapped lardy old single cam 1200GSA until I get overtaken by a WC...hasn't happened yet, GS or GSA:P:D

Is it the bike or is it the rider?
