Despite Mr Garmin's assurances, I suspected things may get complicated and they have.
Situation thus:
I have a Zumo with Lifetime maps for the bike and recently bought a nuvi with Lifetime maps for the car/missus.
Garmin Express handles updates/new maps etc, but puts TWO unlocked versions onto the computer. These show up in the dropdown list in Mapsource as 2015.40 and 2015.40 U - same version, different lock codes.
When I plan a route/waypoints/POIs on Mapsource, how do I know which map belongs to which unit? Routes and maps don't work on the 'wrong' unit obviously. Is it just down to empirical testing or have I missed the obvious?
