I'll have you know I've gone part time. I now work 5 days on 15 off 5 on 15 off 5 on 15 off...you get the picture so loads of time for projects & still loads of money coming in & a bit of "moonlighting" flying on the side.
But you're right, No1 is my choice and not all the K1 bodywork is going back on especially the front mudguard.
It'll be the stanby work bike with panniers, muffs and patina a plenty-like the 911

Sherlock has all the parts you may need, he's just recently broken two K1's.

If you come to do the fork seals, give me a shout, I can tell you how to make the special tool for £1.98 (the seals have to go on with the stanchion in place DAMHIK ).

Had to re-build this on mine a week ago:

If the asking price of this one is anything to go by, it may be worth putting it back to original:

I've ordered off of James front & Rear master cylinders, the 3 fairing brackets and a RAM shock whilst I've been down here in Faro.
Need a rear disc, mirrors, panniers & rails...the list could go on...

Sliders look good but seals will probably need doing so I'll be in touch. Don't think they'll need rechroming at this stage.

Got a replacement fuel pump & might hve it running over the weekend.

Restoring to original?

Everything is there apart from the rear end which has been RS'd but that makes it more pratical for me. I've even thought of RT'ing it.

If I went down the full resto (And you've set the std there!) I doubt I'd ride the thing for fear of ruining the effort and I think I'd enjoy riding this. So it could earn its keep as a work bike.
But this is what I do to work bikes...

Don't worry Mike, it's all coming apart. The frame needs a blast & fresh paint. After that everything bolted to it would look manky unless cleaned/painted/replaced.

You haven't listed all the part numbers for the fasteners, gromets, bushes and rubber mounts by any chance?
Make it easier at the parts counter
