Having had a demo LC home overnight this week, I can understand that. I didn't have any intention of changing my twin cam but.......

And some of us don't want it in here. I thought this was a technical section not an addition to the pub for either:
Folks who don't have the bike to moan and take the piss.
People who do have the bike to harp on about how bloody wonderful it is.
It gets a bit irritating to have to scroll through pages of rubbish to see if people are experiencing the same technical issues as you and it does not seem to happen in other sections of the site.
Anyway, I must go I need to go and water my high horse.

I`ve looked but I can`t see anything that describes this as a "technical section" it just says 1200 GS WC.

It's the only tech section which states .... Blah blah blah - Chat, so that may mean the wc clique isn't welcome in the pub? Apologies for me earlier post.. If this is the case.

I love my bike too
Yesterday, having spent the day training a mature fresh out the box bloke (who was very safe and steady..) I gave the bike a bit of a shake down on the 30 odd mile trip home. (In fact Nutty, it would have been a similar trip you took on that country pub jaunt a year or so ago..)
Bloody hell it's a good bike. It handles superbly - it just floats over the road. It may not quite have the mid range surge like say an Aprillia Touno, but hey, that twin pick up and braaaaap braaaaap is just galaxy chocolate and covers the ground feckin' quickly. You can move the bike about on the road so easily, overtaking on this thing is just a doddle - you can see, you can short shift it, you can gun the throttle on to it's stop ... three figures then ... Off the gas ..... float back into the traffic with a ruthless calmness, you can sit on it all day (I do ... !) and it just mullers B roads.
I am not BM pissed by any stretch, but this is a bloody good bike ...
