I have ridden a week on my new red LC, and I know it's not much, but it is enough to say I LOVE THIS BIKE. It's simply great. I love the looks. I love the punchy engine driven by the sensitive and direct ride-by-wire throttle grip. I love the electronics, which allow me to change the character of the bike at will and quickly. The three engine modes, which I can dial in to fit to the riding conditions and/or my mood? Brilliant. The ESA Dynamic, which I can instantly dial in to fit the many diverse road and street surfaces I ride on day in day out, from the horrible to the decent? Über brillant. And this new Dynamic ESA suspension is very, very good. Much better than the one I had on my RT or my previous GS. I love the many informations I can choose to show on the screen at the push of a button. I love the handling. I love the nimbleness. I love the stability. I love the wider tyres. I love the low weight at slow speeds and manoeuvering. I love the comfort, even with a low seat (so far, much better than the low seat I had on my 2009 GS.) And what brakes! And I'm sure this GS will be perfect off-road.

Now, since this is a new model, we may experience some unforeseen problems down the road, but I'm ready to cope with that, this GS LC is so darn GOOD!

I love that this new GS is a totally different GS, yet still every bit a GS.

There. Now, all you out there who have no idea what this bike is about, you can criticize and laugh and use derogatory remarks and names to your heart's content, I don't give a darn. I LOVE this bike! :augie

Excuse me Mark, you should be making Crud Catchers :blast, Not running around on that new bike :D

Got to agree Hammam, It's Fantastic. I've clocked up 1300 miles now, would have been more, but I need my sleep :rob

Agreed:thumb I've just spent the day on the bike, racked up 245 miles going down to the coast on a mixture of A and B roads, through 5 counties, and this bike is absolutely phenomenal:JB:JB:JB

Did about 50 miles two-up to day, set the rear pre-load and rebound damping to about 90% max, panniers fitted and girlfriend riding pillion - bike is much nicer steering at low speed and rock bollock stable at high speed :D I was surprised at how 'planted' and how well it steered two up, much, much better and more confidence inspiring than the twin-cam IMHO. I'm looking forward to the long ride to the South of France this Summer :D

feck,i gave in and have booked a 3hr test ride next sat,the 13:eek:

I collected my red TE with spokes yesterday. Took it out today for about 60 miles. It's fantastic. You have to hang on during acceleration in a way that I never did on my TC.

I took my wife out for a quick spin and she nearly fell off the back so I have a top box on order now:augie

It makes feel like a bit of a hooligan, and I'm normally so sensible.

I have adjusted the display to show instantaneous mph because sticking to the speed limits is a bit difficult with the analogue dial.

Look!.............stop messing around, make up your mind..........do you like it or not???? :augie

it might not suit me,i expect it to be better in most ways to my 2012 gsa but bikes to me arnt just about being better.

The sound of the side stand going up always gets me. Instead of the boings and the bounces it just goes up and stops against the rubber stop.

Roll on tomorrow:beerjug::thumb

Yep off to gadget show at NEC so looking forward to my fist long run, weather looks half decent too. Popped into dealers to pick up venture shield kit and I can't believe I succumbed to buying a GS key fob for £6.99:eek: they even had different ones to match the different colour of bike. I'm just a sad sucker for that sort of stuff:D
