I love this site!
Problems with my fuel guage started a month or so back. Became progressively worse, 'till "empty" after only 140 miles, but no fuel warning light. Thoughts of expense, new dashboard, etc.
Then - bright idea! - search the site. Found this:

Take things simple - start with the block connector.... and.... that's all it was.
