Dear forum

Anyone know where I can get MS office 2007 @ a reasonable price?

Thx in advance.....:thumb2

Find ...

... a student/scholar, and buy their version; same thing but 'much' cheaper :augie

save all the cash and get the free open office or the newer Libre Office http://www.libreoffice.org/ . Works with MS office docs and does pretty much the same thing unless your using MS office to the max. If your only a fairly light user then you could also go for Google Docs.

Worth looking for Office 2010 if it has to be Office and you are a heavy user. Not a huge change from 2007 but slicker with one or two go faster goodies under the bonnet.

Open office is fully compatibly and free..

If you really need Microsoft.. Look at the Microsoft Technet Standard Subscription...

Does anyone actually still pay for software? :augie

I don't think I've paid for a MS product since the invention of Napster... but maybe that's showing my age! :rob

Two words for free software: Torrent, Newsgroups. ;)

I recently bought a 3-user licensed copy of MS Office Home & Student 2010, I paid about £70 IIRC.

Wife, daughter and son are students, a real shame if its on the PC I share with the wife isn't it.:nenau
