I know alot of you here use an Autocom, could some one enlighten me on a few facts.

I am going on a couple of long trips this year, and thought I should be able to talk to my passager, so I want a rider / pillion set up with phone, ipod and GPS garman 2610. Most systems seem to offer that, so is the top model worth the extra cash compared to the cheaper units. What is the differances. My thoughts are the Active plus or the super pro.

What other bits do I need to talk to another bike?? which would also be very useful, and how much???

All help greatly recieved

Keeping you updated !!
As you have previously registered your interest in the new Liberty Wireless intercom system from IntaRide, we'd like to keep you updated as to the latest news regarding the launch.

The system has been out on Beta-test with some members of the public over the past few weeks and we are extremely pleased with the results. There were a couple of minor changes to volume levels etc which was easy to correct via the software, but the general feedback was very positive regards the actual function & performance of the system. One criticism however, was aimed at the size and shape of the helmet "Pod".

Now, with the Liberty being probably the most advanced motorcycle intercom system in the world, it would be a dreadful shame to have people saying "what a fantastic system - but……. !!!)

So, we've decided to completely re-design the helmet "Pod" to be much slimmer and more rounded so it will look really good. Unfortunately this will mean completely new mouldings and a custom battery pack being designed. The upshot of this is that although pre-production units will be out on test with the Journalists in probably a couple of weeks time, we estimate being able to start supply to customers during July.

We understand that this is a longer delay than at first anticipated, therefore if this is likely to cause an inconvenience, we are happy to offer you an Rp1 unit that can be fully traded-in 100% ** against a Liberty system when available. The Rp1 details and pricing are on our website. To take up this offer, simply purchase an Rp1 on-line or by telephone.

** The Rp1 must be returned in good condition to qualify for the 100% trade-in when purchasing the Liberty System.

Best regards
