I open Mapsource and it shuts on its own

Following on from this thread, I thought I'd post it here and see if anyone can help.

I open Mapsource and get a message saying City Navigator verison 8 is locked, which it is as I've never got round to unlocking it.

So I click on "skip" and it tells me my map data is over a year out of date.

Doesn't matter if I click on "remind me later" or just leave it, but the program closes about 5 seconds later.

I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling unless someone tells me I'm doing somehting numpty

you need to unlock it, will only work for so long with it locked

Thanks for that. That's a tad annoying. Does it say that anywhere in the blurb then?

Looks like a reinstall or try and unlock the map and finally wedge up

when you uninstalled it did you delete the garmin and mapsource folders before you reinstalled and did you look in regedit for anything to do with mapsource
