I Pad I. O. S 5 upgrade help please

Hi guy's. I'm still on the original I pad with ios 5. I'm still happy with the functions I need but the ios won't accept somemodern apps.
Any chance of upgrading the ios to a later version. Apple say no.

Nope - like an iPhone 3, rendered useless now as most Apps are needing more computing power if you like.

I have an original iPad and the updates just won't go on it. Time for a new one I guess!

Have bought a Tesco tablet with the misses vouchers. Seems to have what I need. I'll probably get another I pad if and when Ineed or have the cash.
