i use nav free on my iphone never had any problems with it and its free
Navfree doesn't do routes in the sense that you can dictate the route though, that's unless the iPhone version is more advanced than the Android version. The latest version on Android that I've tinkered with has flawed address searching as well. A good effort for a free app all the same, good as an emergency back-up I suppose.
