well as another rider said he has had many the dreams including a blackbird and his better half but something tells me wasnt on a bike

ya its a stupidly fast bike

Just don't ride one in the South of France in 30C temperatures - they overheat and cook them selves and the rider if you are travelling at less then 70mph. Apart from the overheating they are great, just sick to cooler climes.

Had Two of them and love them but alas I had the same sort of experience as Engineer in the south of France, I remember feeling a bit of an idiot at traffic lights in Seta revving the engine trying to keep the temp down BUT the carb model I owned didn't have the problem and felt that little bit faster.

It would happily take someone like myself with little skill round the Nurburgring with full luggage in under ten with little effort.

ya i noticed that today it was near boiling in traffic but fine at speed

My other half had to fix that problem in Andorra for a mate temperatures where similar to south of France, it was very mcguiver but worked.
Light switch from a bedside lamp was attached to wire coming from fan as it wasn't cutting in when needed, when sitting in traffic he turns it on until temp comes down or gets moving then switches it off. This was done about 6 years ago, we lost touch when he moved & ran into him at Skerries 100 races this year. He still has switch & black bird both working fine.

might look sticking a 2n fan on like some do on enduro bikes and fit switch

whats the highest speeding ticket in ireland

yad have a good go on tha :D

must find some good roads now for it

must say wouldnt realise the speed it does its so solid
