Just test riden a 1200GSA and I'm smitten :D

Wasn't really looking to buy one but I can't believe how good it was. It feels like a GS should and seems to have the same road presence and feel good factor of the old 1150, which I swapped for my current Triumph 1050 Sprint ST.

The dealer has even offered me a really good deal on A GSA with all the toys I've asked for. The fiance has even told me to buy it if I want it.

What should I do?

Are they really that good? The ride felt great, even two up and the weather protection even seems to be sorted.

Before I part with my hard earned are there any downsides to the new bike.

Please give me a little advice/feedback as I think I'm gonna be giving my bank card details in the morning.

Cheers...........Jon

Just give in to your lust, now you have some support at this stage.... Go for it !

I'm waiting for mine at least until March, since there is a production stop. Rumors are a new model (perhaps only slightly modified) is to be announced next week during the EICMA in Milan. Is your dealer offering you a 2007 model out of stock ??

You may want to wait for a week before getting a 2007 model (if this is what we are talking about). Sorry I'm not making this really much easier for you, but it is the public's right to be informed right ?!

As said above Go for it Jon:thumb you like the bike, you have the blessing of your other half what are you waiting for?
There are plenty of satisfied 1200GSA owners on this site-me included :thumb

JFDI. :thumb

Are there any downsides? Only that any GS will lure money from your wallet / bank account / credit cards in order to finnace more essential bling and goodies.

All GS's should come with a Government Wealth Warning. :augie

Put the thoughts of the new 2008 bike to the back of you're mind, The 2007 bike is just about as sorted as it can be, they've had nearly 2 years to iron out glitched and make changes and it's now about right. You'll only buy one of the first facelift bikes only to have it back at the dealer for recalls and downloads etc and they start ironing out the new bikes glitches. It's often the case that the last production bikes of an old model are far superior to the first production bikes of the new model!

Go for it, the more I ride mine the happier I am with it!

What you waiting for????? The other half is allowing you to buy!!!!!! Whats stopping you man???? GET ON WITH IT YOU LUCKY F##KER!!!!!!!!!! If I could I would.

Go for it

Yes, go for it !
My one is for sale at John Clarks in Dundee by the way....
