Had a new set of boots on my RS last weekend and took it out for proper ride today.
Instead of my usual preferred Roads 6s I fancied trying Road 6 GTs.
First impressions are that the ride is now really harsh,I can really feel the bumps thanks to the tyres stiffer sidewall.
Was riding solo,so perhaps things will improve when two up.

I don't even put the GT's on my 1250 GSA.
You'll need to wear them out quick and swap back.

Out today with Mrs Bravo riding pillion, ride is still a bit harsh but not as bad as when I'm solo.

I think the GT version are best suited to real heavy weight bikes like the K1600GT, they also do a version for the Honda Goldwing. For the RS best off with the standard Road 6. 🫣

The GTs might be a wise choice if you are going to travel on the autobahn, two-up with luggage at sustained speeds of over 100 mph. The stiffer sidewall should prevent excessive speed build-up.

My bike came with GTs but, after considering the comments above, I will probably switch to standard tyres.
